An immersive experience of DND, from character creation to playing that character in a mini 3 session campaign.
DND promotes roleplaying, practicing communication skills, maths, puzzle solving, critical thinking, and provides an imaginative and immersive setting for people to look deeper into their motivations, desires and discomforts via their character. Join us for an amazing adventure, delving into dungeons, solving mysteries, uncovering secrets, slaying monsters and making friends along the way!
Miniature painting is a wonderful way to practice hand-eye coordination, fine detail skills, and creating wonderful miniature models to use in table top roleplaying games!
We will also be delving into the messy art of making terrains and landscapes and other miniature props and items to use in gameplay, such as barrels, tents, grassy hills, tiny roads, wonderous valleys, etc.
Join us in exploring creation with different mediums, such as collaging, paper mache, hand pouring soup and candles, painting rocks, making ribbon and yarn dream catchers, and much more! General arts and crafts is a wonderful way to explore your interests and inspirations in your own way from a simple idea into something completely unique!
Every medium in painting is different in the way it acts and reacts with the canvas, water, oils, and more. These sessions aim to showcase the different mediums, and how best to use them to create certain effects and textures within the paint. We will be using all, from acrylics, to gouache, oils, watercolours, glow in the dark neons and even dimension building paints and inks.
Board games promote many skills, such as mathematics, english, problem solving, deduction and much more. Our board game sessions will range from competitive 'winner-takes-all' games to cooperative mystery solving. We aim to promote sharing, turn-taking, assistance skills, and healthy competitive spirits.
